You are currently browsing the monthly archive for March 2007.
So the departure date is set on April 11 and it will be a long journey ! I will arrive the day after and start working on April 16, hopefully NEC’s team rent an appartment for me already. And as I could have imagine everything is in Japanese and I am not good enough to understand everything. I will probably make Babelfish a very useful tool for the upcoming months !
So, let’s have a look at where I will be living (or just sleeping who knows) during the next 6 months. (I am still testing different WordPress features so feel free to comment)
Well does not look too bad I guess. About 20 square meters, 20 km from work, 5 minutes from station and in Osaka area. I wonder if the slideshow is a good idea but you will tell me anyway. So see you there next time!
For those who are too lazy to read English, you can find a short version of the article on the French page… (but you read through the article already, didn’t you ?)
Yeah cool a new blog! So what? well maybe some explanations about the purpose of this blog is useful for the beginning. As you may know, I am currently in the last 6 months to obtain my master degree in communication systems but I am not the only one. So to keep in touch with my classmates, here is a blog to let them know what is happening to me in this far away country named Japan. If you feel curious about where my friends are also, check the link in the sidebar and you will see that we are spread all over the world.
Oh yeah, classmates are not the only readers of this blog (at least I hope so), probably some of you want to know about my new adventure in Japan after having followed my 1 year exchange in the US. Thanks to them, the blog is also written for those guys. Be sure also to leave comments on what you are interested in so I can write about what matters and not only my internee life in a big big big Japanese company.
By the way, there is no fixed date for my departure but it should come around Easter, till that most of the articles will probably be about general information not necessarily related to Japan, but who knows…
Come check again soon !
Obviously when it comes to write articles such that as many people can read the blog, it also comes to in what language should this blog ? So it will depend on you and the attendance of the blog. The main languages are English and French… Japanese will have its own page as I will try to write sometimes in Japanese.
So if you ever come to this page and would like to read the upcoming articles, let me know if you prefer English or French (or both) by leaving a comment. Thank you and stay tuned !

Be ready, it’s starting soon
